All in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, the fast running greens and superb weather helped this to be one to remember. The scoring from the 84 players was impressive and former European Tour and Ryder Cup star Paul Broadhurst took home the spoils with a magnificent -5 par 67 in the Pro strokeplay event. Two shots behind and on his tail for some time was the European Tour’s Adam Gee, 2003 French Open winner Phillip Golding, Lee Corfield and Andrew Marshall, all home in just 69 swipes. The team event was won by Team Gee, comprising of Freedman, Leveson and Hope with 90 stableford points in the best 2 from 4 stableford comp. Only 3 points behind was Team Little, headed up by former European Tour player Jamie Little consisting of Lines, Baker and Day with 87pts. After dinner speaking from our winner Broadhurst was enlightening with an added Q&A session that revealed some fascinating insights to Tour life! The charity auction raised a fantastic sum of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
