Some very notable professionals were competing in the guise of Portuguese Open Winner Tom Lewis, multiple Tour winner and former Ryder Cup player Paul Broadhurst, 2003 French Open Champion Philip Golding, European Tour winner Mike McClean, European Tour player Adam Gee and up-and-coming Challenge Tour star, Callum Shinkwin.

Scoring for the Pros and their teams were excellent, and it was Philip Golding's team consisting of Ellisdon/Faulkner/Herbert who took the spoils in the team event (best two from 4 scores) with 98 Stableford points. This was some margin from 2nd placed Team Corfield with 92pts, and 3rd place went to Team Little. Tom Lewis won the Pro stroke-play event with a birdie at the last to secure top spot with a fantastic seven-under par 65. Runner up went to Steven Brown (-6), and third spot Lee Corfield (-5).

The prize-giving presentation followed the superb BBQ supper, and we all look forward to the 2015 event!
